We produce detailed high quality reports in accordance with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors guidelines for a wide variety of Banks and other lending institutions. Our services include valuations for bank lending of existing properties, development appraisals, taxation valuations and valuations for Leasehold Enfranchisement under the leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act.
Our team is dedicated to provide good service, and last year we carried out valuations with a total value in excess of £150,000,000.
Richard Hargreaves BSc FRICS MCI Arb
Richard heads the department and has over 35 years of experience in valuation in Central and West London. He has considerable knowledge in all aspects of commercial and residential valuation work. He also takes appointments as Independent Expert and Arbitrator both privately and by appointment from the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Richard has recently bought a house in France which he is renovating and likes to spend some of his spare time learning French. He also has family in Ireland so is very rarely in one place for too long.
Gail Moir BA (Hons) MRICS
Gail has worked for HNG for almost 10 years now and has been an equity director for 5 years. Gail has over 17 years of experience in the surveying industry working in both the private and public sectors. She has specialised in valuation for the past 10 years and has a very broad range of experience in all types of commercial and residential property throughout London. She is a keen cyclist and sportswoman having played competitive basketball and badminton for many years. Gail spends her holidays cycling in far flung places including Sri Lanka and Cuba and this year is off to the Carpathian Mountains.
Jim Parker Bsc (Hons) MRICS
Jim joined Hargreaves Newberry Gyngell in 2000 and now has 10 years experience of property valuation in the Greater London area. Jim specialises in residential and commercial valuation and is an Associate Director within the firm. Jim originates from Yorkshire, is a keen football player and is an avid supporter of Newcastle United. He regularly makes the long trip up north to watch his team and visit his family.
Emma Bailey Bsc (Hons) MRICS
Emma has 3 years experience with HNG and undertakes both commercial and residential valuation across London. Emma originates from Cumbria and enjoys longhaul travel having visited New Zealand, The Philippines and Canada.
Jane Horder (consultant), Bsc (Hons) MRICS
Jane is the newest member of the valuation team having joined in November 2007. She brings with her an in depth knowledge of a wide variety of professional matters including a detailed understanding of both the public and private sectors of business and strategic consultancy. With 25 years experience, particularly in the Central London market development projects, Jane brings an added dimension to the valuation team.
